Holly's Family Messages
This might be a good place to pretend we're sitting down with a cup of tea and
sharing our family photos or other current goings on. As a first step I
designed a June 2000
birthday message page for Jackie.
Carmen's birthday is celebrated in July and we were also very happy to
celebrate the 101st birthday of Edith Washburn Burns. Update:In July 2004, Edith celebrated her 104th birthday with family. I saw her in November and she gets around with the use of a walker and has some problems with sight and hearing, but she's still playing bridge and is very alert. It makes me so happy to see her this way not only because I care but as an incentive for a long productive life for me and my contemporary cousins.
All the stories that formerly were on this page have now been included in the genealogy section of my site under My Family Stories as they are, after all about our ancestors and about us as well. Family, this is what genealogy's all about.
