Preparation
Open your font and minimize it. It will appear in your font list on PSP when you need it.
Open PSP.
Open your tube, the mask and the pattern.
Minimize them all.
Open a new image 500x500 transparent.
Now we're ready so let's begin.
Step 1
On the materials palette set your foreground color to red #c0181c and the background to black. Floodfill with your foreground color.
On the layer palette right click then Shift key/Add New Raster Layer. Floodfill with your background color
Step 2 Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image. Select Layers/Merge Group, Layers/Merge Down. It wouldn't hurt now to File/Save As/ the name you plan to use for the finished tag then you can just keep hitting Save as you go along.
Step 3
. Add two new raster layers. Floodfill the bottom one with your background color and the top one with your foreground color. This is the reverse of what you did previously. Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image. Repeat the Merge Group and Merge Down. You now have two merged layers.
Step 4
Highlight the bottom layer. Select your magic wand.
Hit the delete button on your keyboard. Repeat the magic wand and delete with the top layer.
Step 5
Image/Canvas Size/800x800. Highlight top layer Image/Free Rotate/Right 90. Highlight the bottom layer Image/Free Rotate/Left 90. Arrange the images as shown here.
Image/Resize/500x500
Step 6
Add new raster layer. Layers/Arrange/Send to the Bottom. In your materials palette double click on your foreground color and choose Pattern/Open Image/hkheartsingold2.jpg with these settings. Floodfill the layer.
Step 7
Maximize your tube Copy/Paste as a new layer. Move to the left side. In your materials palette reduce the opacity to 77.
Step 8
Select your text tool and find the font you want to use. Change your materials to foreground white, background white.
Type each word separately so you can place them where you want them. When you're satisfied, Effects/3D/Inner Bevel.
Step 9
Add copyright and watermarks on separate layers so you can adjust the opacity. Save/Export as a jpeg or png file as you choose.
And you're finished.
I hope you enjoyed making this tag and that you'll try some others I've written.
