Week One

Hope you don't mind all my examples. Guess I hate to make the effort and not use it. Also, it's a good record for me to go back and see for the future. I learned so much by taking this over. The first time the tools were overwhelming and I missed a lot of the tips in the very first part of the lesson. Now that I know more, these things are going to save me a lot of time. So, I highly recommend repeating these courses, even for oldtimers.

It wasn't until after I prepared this page that I opened the Help Section on the Brush Variances and found that the items with an asterisk were only for a tablet. That's good to know because I do have a tablet but since I didn't use it here, I guess the changes had no effect. I thought they came out different but just my imagination, I guess.

I made this image with a variety of brush variances and three different brushes. First the Spiral Brush, then the Rope Brush and finally, the Surreal Brush first with Fade In Fade Out and finally with no variance at all.

I learned so much in this lesson and I'm so glad I signed up for this. When I think back of the first time, I didn't know anything and I guess it was pretty overwhelming. Now I can absorb so much more of it.
