My first signature made by myself with the holly tube. I didn't read the instructions carefully and this tool was not in the lesson.

Learning buttonizing, etc.

Another signature, this time all my own

My kitty seemed to be looking at something so I tried to put a bluebird in

I made another attempt at the bluebird, so thought I'd put it here for comparison.

The lesson name tag or signature.

Another doodle

This doodle looked like some warm, fuzzy critter.

This made me think of a birthday party

Here's another try. Much more simple but I like it too.

Well, I thought I was finished but I learned so much from this simple landscape attempt that I wanted to include it here. The major thing I learned was why you have layers. I should have made the background first and then added the foregrounds. It was fun though but I think I could have done better by hand.
I don't think this will count as extra credit but my friends took this picture of their pups, sitting in their beds and I thought it would be a nice sig. I used the erase tool to eliminate the background and then the paintbrush with the wallpaper texture to add the wall. Then I used the woodgrain tool for the floor. Again, I can see how the layers are going to make this so much easier. I used select to eliminate a lot of the background and then added the blue text in CaslonNo540SwaD 26 size. Aren't they cute?
I also made this button to go back to the course page.
