ATLANTA JOURNAL
We are enclosing our annual payment for your newspaper. We are doing this with
great reluctance because we are very displeased with what has and is happening
with the ATLANTA JOURNAL, particularly the weekend papers.
Illustration: the Perspective section on Sunday no longer has good reporting
about national and international news events. It is more about causes, race,
etc. We are not biased but can't we go back to good balanced reporting?
The Home and Garden section used to be my greatest enjoyment in the past. Now
it is in the Friday paper and has been cut down almost to nothing. What a
disappointment!
Also, we are not in the "metro area" and, therefore, are not as interested in
Atlanta and Fulton county happenings. We used to live in Cobb County and
enjoyed your supplement there. Can't you do something like that for us. We
have a local paper that we buy and also get the Wall Street Journal but it's
only published five days a week.
Most folks here are very dissatisfied with your paper and would jump to buy a
competitive paper if it were available.
Yours very truly,
